Groups are being created, despite being unticked

Hi Micke,

It looks like the IntuneManagement tool is creating Entra ID Groups despite the option when importing for assignments is not ticked. I thought that this being unticked would not create the groups, at least that's how I remember the behaviour being in the past.

That is not expected behaviour.

Hello,

I've tried 3 times now to move between environment eg

• Imported without assignments - No groups created
• Deleted policies
• Imported with assignments - Groups created
• Deleted policies and groups
• Imported without assignments - No groups created

I did this just to verify that there was no caching causing groups to be created the third time.

So not sure what happened there. Not sure even the logs would explain it more than groups were created.
