FR: Highlighted text becomes footnote

Often I will find that some text I have written in the main body should instead be a footnote. Wouldn't it be neat if, instead of highlighting the text, cutting the text, creating the footnote, and pasting the text, I could just highlight the text and then invoke Footnote Shortcut, and it will do the rest?

This is a good idea. Would you like this highlighted text to become an inline footnote or a regular footnote? If you don't know the different types specifically, I have linked to the plugin wiki which explains what each of them are.

I think I would personally prefer a regular footnote, but this should probably be a plugin setting.
