Lack of Support for iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 17.4.1)
Obsidian on my iPhone had become very unstable and slow, and I believe I've narrowed the problem to Booksidian by toggling community plugins on and off. After updating to the latest Booksidian, I see a notice that it doesn't support my device.
Are there plans to add iPhone support? I love the plugin and use it regularly, so I'd love to see this happen. Also happy to pitch in with a PR or two if we know where the key issues are.
Hi, the plugin is desktop only as of v0.3.6 (since July 2023) see https://github.com/MichaBrugger/booksidian_plugin/issues/15 for more info, in short this was due to a dependency that did not play along on mobile.
Do you per chance remember which version of the plugin you were using prior to upgrading?
Hi @husjon. I'm afraid I don't recall which version I was using or when I upgraded before I started having issues. (Obsidian mobile's performance has been off for me for a few months, but it had been mostly tolerable, so I hadn't done much investigation and hadn't identified it as related to Booksidian until the last few days.)
No worries, just trying to narrow down what might be the issues.
As for myself, I use an Android phone and I've not been able to enable the plugin at all on my phone, so I'm not sure how it could affect the vault performance on the phone because of that. :thinking:
