Existing 1chipMSX core is poorly maintained because there was no dedicated developer who understood MSX HW. It's also not convenient as it's ported from HPS-less design and requires VHD image. It also uses weird internal switch design. I'm ready to give it up in favor of your core. The only problem i see is lack of MSX2 support. Are you planning to add MSX2 HW?
