end markers from makethin in User's guide

It appears that the makeendmarkers option for makethin is not documented in the User's guide.

Also, the documentation currently states that "inactive elements are instead sliced so there is a slice in the beginning and in end of the location of the thick element", but this is not the case for PLACEHOLDER elements, such as the LHC connection cryostats.
