nametags module lag

Describe the bug

The nametags module lags the game a lot. There's no way to make it lag less. I used the Spark client to check the mods' performance, and as you can see, the nametags module is consuming about 80% of my resources.

Steps to reproduce

1- I activated the nametags module 2- I used Spark to monitor my performance and noticed that nametags are consuming a lot of resources.

1.21.10 build 39

Minecraft Version

1.21.10

Do you happen to not have a culling limit set and there's 1000+ nametags on your screen?

tested with several thousands of entities, and nametag rendering does not take significantly more time than it would take if every single one of those entities actually had a nametag rendered by minecraft (meteor is slightly slower, but the impact on framerate is not measurably different), and that time is only a fraction of the time it takes to render the actual entity models (although it is not a very small one either)

this is why it asked for the spark capture link.
