[Bug]: Error after switching networks

Describe the bug

Managed to get to Tab at index '3' does not exist error after a few networks switches

Expected behavior

No errors

  1. Switch the network on activity a few times and on different tabs

Hi @aganglada @chloeYue , I’m able to reproduce this issue on v13.13.0 and would like to work on it.

Cannot repro on main, not seeing any issues. I'll try on the 13.13.0 build.

Gut feeling, the number of tabs in the home page can change between evm and non-evm. May be a DS issue.

I also cannot repro this network changing issue on 13.13.0. This might be a bit of a more elusive bug.

Hi @adrigug and team,

I was also not able to reproduce so far:

Testing conditions:

  • multiple wallets imported (over 100 accounts)
  • multiple browser tabs open (over 30)
  • pending confirmations from dapps
  • pending transactions

I tried:

  • switching networks really fast
  • switching networks from EVM to non EVM while being on tab 3 (NFTs)
  • changing from expand view to pop-up view to side panel view

At some point, switching networks did not work at all, but I did not get any error and refreshing the page solved the issue.

I was unable to reproduce the issue on macOS using the Chrome browser against 13.13.0 RC.
