Is there an option to auto suspend apps when putting pc to sleep mode and auto resume them when waking pc up?

In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElKofN8WMIM At 6:52 he showed when using Nyrna, he just press power button to sleep and it will auto pause Elden ring then press button to wake and it auto resume the game

Am I missing something?

I'm not sure how that person is doing it automatically. Maybe they are running a script/command before and after sleep that calls Nyrna with the --toggle flag.
