New project wizard : Package Project : Unclear names and descriptions

Hello,

I needed to create a Mergin project from an existing QGIS project. I did not want to include some of my files in the Mergin project because they are very heavy. To do this, I used the Mergin project packaging tool but found the interface ambiguous on two points.

1. Package current QGIS project - description

The description of Package current QGIG project misled me. I understood that the packaging was necessarily including all the files related to the QGIS project and lost some time before noticing that when going to the next step, the user can actually choose for each layer if he wants to include it or not.

I think the last sentence of the description could be rephrased, for example by: "You will choose which layers to include, then we will make a copy of your project and take care of packaging of map layers so that all data is contained in a single folder."

2. Selection of layers : Package - Keep as is - Ignore

We then have three choices for each layer :

• Package
• Keep as is
• Ignore

For me, thoses choices were confusing, especially for Keep as is, even with the short description I found here. I think it will be very usefull to add in the wizard a brief description of what each option does and how they differ and/or to make the explanations more complete in the documentation.
