Canceling a project upload produces strange behavior

When I create a new project using Project Wizard, then upload it and hit cancel during it, the project is in a strange state.

• The project was created on the server, but without any files (this is somehow expected)
• in the app it shows, that the project was not uploaded, which is also partially true.
• in the menu for the project, options for upload project or synchronization are missing
• in the project canvas, I can hit synchronize, which will synchronize forever without the result
• when in this state I go to the Home page, where there is running synchronization of the projects, which can't be stopped by the stop button.

After the app is restarted, it behaves the expected way.

• there is an upload button for the project
• after using it, it shows an error that the project with the same name already exists on the server
