Some phantom features on map canvas

During testing I was able to create a project, where I get this phantom lines, which can't be clicked

This error is NOT brought by our last changes. I was able to simulate this also in 1.7.0. It is probable, that I just destroy the project during playing with geometry editing.

Like do I know how to create such a project? No But with the project above, you can reproduce it always.
