Drag-n-drop designer does not work when used in 1-n relation for the child layer

When I try to use drag-n-drop designer (e.g. having a group, etc), within a child table from a 1-n relation, the app does not display the record within the parent table. It makes the changes to the child layer but the records are not visible from the parent layer.

I stumbled upon this issue to. It seems to me that this works when relation field (i have uuids) is selected/dragged-and-dropped to be used in form. Otherwise I'm left with empty relation reference uuid. At the same time, this works in QGIS.
