Small misrender

Randomly found this. U+0424 looks distorted in the Search pane: Image

But it looks fine in the main pane: Image

Could this might be a bug in how smaller text is rendered? Hinting problem? Or something else?

Tinos is essentially a reskin: another font with Times New Roman’s metrics. All reskins have a common feature: they strive to look as far from the origin as possible. Up to the uncanny point.
