How to upgrade k8s-rdma-shared-dev-plugin to newer version without affecting running workloads

Open LiweiPeng opened this issue 9 months ago • 0 comments

Hi, our clusters have older version of k8s-rdma-shared-dev-plugin. We'd like to upgrade it to newer version. e.g. from 1.4.0 to 1.5.2. The clusters have IB-based workloads running. For upgrade, we don't want to affect running workloads.

My questions are:

  1. Can we simply redeploy the daemon set using newer k8s-rdma-shared-dev-plugin version?
  2. If not, what's the recommended way to upgrade the plugin version without affecting existing IB workloads?

Thanks
