statirator init seems to be pointed to blog creation

When executing

$ statirator init

It creates a directory named "blog", however if the site that is not for a blog, the whole notation and state of mind can make a lot of confusion and might miss the usage of the tool at a whole.

I would recommend to be able to provide the idea of "content" and not specific type of web site.
