Media volume always played at maximum

Whenever I open video content within Tweeten it always plays at maximum volume. Even if I were to adjust the volume, the next video will again play at maximum volume. Using the windows mixer to adjust volume is not a suitable solution for me as this also lowers the volume of the notification alerts.

Would it be possible to have an option in the settings to pre-set this volume or at the very least remember the volume I set last?
