It's already on the back-log. For now, I can't give you any deadlines. But I definitely plan to do it. As well as #16

also i needed this....Hi The developer of timeto.me. I am Kartik. I am using this app from about 8 days and I love the app. Its literally amazing. I just want such app through which I can track all my time and habits, and where my time is wasting during the day. But sometimes I just start the timer and starts working, but due to some reasons (such as a bluetooth device connected, or I am just away from my phone) I can't hear the sound of it's notification and timer (as you know) keeps running and running. and then after 2-3 hrs, it strikes me to check the app and i have disturbed my statistics. So please provide some widget or notification or anything else, which provide us some detail about currently running timer. Overall its a great app, which do a duty of many apps like calender, pomodoro, habit maker, and much more. Thanks for making the app and even putting it on f-droid. I am kartik, 19 year old boy, living in india. I am using this app on ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 on Android 10(beta). (Forgive me for any grammatical mistakes in my english)

Regards.

Hi, very interested in this feature too! I just want to add that ideally to me: the notif would include action button such that clicking on it would open the activity choice popup. This way without switching app we could change ongoing activity.

In general, making as frictionless as possible the task input is key to reliable time management IMO.

Thanks a lot this app truly rocks!

The next few updates will be around this.

Hi! I had an idea the other day that I thought was worth sharing. I discovered the great tasks android app and it (among other features) adds a button in the 'shortcuts area' that are part of the 'notification panel'. Things like those shortcuts: image

I think that timeto.me could add shortcuts like that too. Either 1 shortcut that toggles a popup that allows telling what we're now doing WITHOUT leaving the current app, or 1 shortcut per activity (as the user can hide them it might not be an issue), or 1 shortcut per activity that enables it (meaning you add a new toggle button in the individual activity configuration).

This popup could also be activated by clicking on the persistent notification, reusing the same code.

What do you think?

Thanks for the idea. I'll try to do something useful based on it.

Is this still planned to be implemented? This feature would drastically improve user experience

when will it come?

@molecrp Yes, it is still planned. @kartik2005221 I can't give any deadlines. At the moment I work on the huge refactoring including improved UI and navigation. Once I finish this, new features will come faster.
