Bookmarks - show only mounted smb shares

Open andrkac opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

I have few smb shares in my home network which are not mounted on default. Unfortunately - bookmarks show only mounted ones, even if I can see them in caja. I cannot find a way to view unmounted shares or browse whole network neighborhood.

Can you provide a screen shot?

All the red entries from the image are also as text below.

sunflower On bookmarks list you can find from above (see screenshot):

  1. Mounted only devices - additional can be added by mounting manager but not here; it's very uncomfortable

  2. Boomark added manually in sunflower: smb:/// or smb://group/ doesn't work and I guess that mounting does not work also

  3. Mixed bookarks and some system dirs, taken from.... I don't know? I don't have Wideo in Caja And - there is literaly no difference between local and network locations. So I have two folders named Muzyka (music) - one from local drive which is removed from my home(!) and one - from smb, located on my home server. And I don't know which is correct. Additionally: Clicking on the removed Muzyka dir causes alert (no such file or dir) and... takes me to ~/Obrazy (Images) which still exists.

Okay, thanks for providing extra information. I can see how this is not convenient. New, GTK3 version, is already going this direction to display both mounted and unmounted volumes.
