Block-UI background fade when using infinite scroll

When I'm using infinite scroll I get data asynchronously and add it to a grid on the page. The back ground fade of the block-ui is only for some portion of the page and the rest of the area is clickable. Is there something that will calculate the height of the body element automatically when using infinite-scroll.
