blockui already blocks the elements under block ui template before started

i set a custom template in angular configuration. when the page loads i cannot click the elements under template of block ui but start method is not called and template is not showed yet.

+1. I am using Angular Material framework and the latest BlockUI. While the block ui isn;t started, the block-ui-overlay has the highest z-index on the page (10001) and thus blocks access to all page elements.
