DPS calc inconsistencies/errors making the DPS graphs "untrustworthy"
Should have submitted this earlier as it bugged me last year... Either the stats being displayed are wrong and you are doing calcs on hidden numbers or your calcs are wrong and all the graphs are wrong.
The formula you list says that you are including reloads and is a "true DPS" so lets take the Pheonix as its got nice round numbers:
damage per shot = 150 RPM = 60 Reload = 3.45 sec magsize = 5
So quick mental maths (150*60)/60=150 mag dump DPS.
Your "true DPS" would be 5/(60/60)= 5 seconds to mag dump plus 3.45 seconds reload speed = 8.45seconds to do 750 damage which is 88.75 "true DPS"
But you have the "true DPS" listed as 160 - Thats more that the theoretical max DPS without reloads!
Even when following the formula listed where you multiply the full magazine damage by 1.5 (no idea why you do this) we get 750*1.5/8.45=133 "true DPS", if i assume the random 1.5 multiplier is for a blue extended mag then the "true DPS" drops to 104.8. Like what is happening here what is this formula??
Lets look at the AA12:
damage per shot = 104.5 RPM = 343 Reload = 2.56 sec magsize = 12
(104.5*343)/60=597.4 RAW DPS
12/(343/60)=2.1sec to mag dump + 2.56sec to reload = 4.66sec to do 1254 damage = 269.1 DPS with reloads
Lets check that with what you have: 222.32 "true DPS".
All I'm taking the data listed on your site and just plugging it into a calculator and getting something completely different to what is to be expected.
The calc for DPS with reloads is (magsize*damage per shot) / ((magsize/(RPM/60)) + time to reload)
Also there is value in RAW DPS that excludes reload times and just the mag dump times as if you have enough damage in the mag to kill a special the "true" DPS isnt relevant to its TTK performance and admin reload is very popular and makes "true DPS" less important as you aren't as interested in DPS with reloads as that reload time is going to be spent mag dumping your other weapon who's DPS with reloads you also dont care about - but knowing what has higher mag dump DPS is important.
The calc for DPS is simply RPM*damage per shot/60seconds
