Windows Portable Restart Startup
Windows Portable Restart Startup does not have the command. Run at Login is on. Sleep works. I tested a work around, which works, manually adding to Startup. When I examine the .exe used for the startup, the Date & Time is when I downloaded the .exe. Please compress/zip the Windows Portable, then the .exe's Date & Time matches the Release Date. I cannot find the location to show the App's Version # for Windows Portable? Both Mac & Windows, The old issue to see the Current Time "Now" needs attention, a Now Button would be nice, unless you have a way now to get to the current time? I tested the Startup time without & with, using Bootracer. Tockler Portable only added a small 5 second increase. Bootracer is an install, only way the app can do the correct task. Free version is safe, does the task. Used for many years, is an essential app for testing. https://www.greatis.com/bootracer/ Thanks again for the Portable App. I'm running 99.9% Portable. I tested turned on Use OS theme & Enable logging. Did not notice any OS theme for Windows & Mac? Enable logging, what extra will you find in the Log path?
The app is not portable, do not use portable version, it's fake, more info on screenshot. I even have the app in my sock list of apps. I hope software will get better and i'll be able to laugh at it in future instead of suffering.
Nice to know. It is standard electron builder portable. Not a windows user myself, nor can I test that option. If you say it is not proper, then I believe you. No fix will come from me, as this is free software and dont have free time. Feel free to make changes to code and make a pull request. Just for information. Why do you need portable version and not intaller?

You can test it on virtual machine, that's what I did.
I don't need tockler actually at all - I found better alternative with size of 252 kb +DB (and it eats about 12mb of RAM). https://github.com/aardappel/procrastitracker
This problem with fake portability is common. I saw same unpacking behavior with https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/890 . For example in case when you need download many small files and you run the app for each it would extract then delete itself, it will eat way more GB of SSD lifespan than tockler. I can only wonder about other apps if you say that's standart electron builder portable. Anyway, that's positive thing for those who sell cpu, ram and ssd.
Just for information. Why do you need portable version and not intaller?
Because the app doesn't actually need any kind of installation and can access everything it needs? Also it's very easy to transfer app to another OS.
