It is not a bug... when creating .dmg images, `hdiutil` chooses the filesystem based on which filesystem the source volume is using... so if the source volume is APFS, then...

Also... if HSFX was forced... although that should avoid issues of some files being left out if the source folder was on a case sensitive filesystem... and well written apps...

Some more testing with pigz and 7z compressing to gzip format. With pigz on it's level 9, it compressed a 729.1 MB file to 344.6 in maybe about 10 seconds......

I just discovered this app... seems like a pretty nice app... TipTyper also seems good... If Noto is going to replace TipTyper, it would be nice if Noto also had...
