I think that's needed for single value parameters, as opposed to lists. So we need a front end fix to support it.
@PavelMakarchuk could you review? Now passing tests.
How's this going?
Census provided this comparison of CPI-U to FCSUti (which governs SPM threshold growth): https://www.bls.gov/pir/spm/spm_thresholds_2023.htm#_edn1 [Since 2010](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hMqsRrbuGpbQJjUyK56RtvcmPtnaKsnkEYodGe4qsJ8/edit?usp=sharing), CPI-growth has averaged 2.55%, while FCSUti has averaged 2.71% (average annual rate, not CAGR)....
Agreed @PavelMakarchuk. We don't currently model any state-level payroll taxes. I can't immediately find whether these count for the SALT deduction.
If it's still an enhancement opportunity please leave it open
Haha indeed. Should we change the definition_period to week? https://github.com/PolicyEngine/policyengine-uk/blob/a8a2c1c7f867d990f7eb589f5436f68f45b25923/policyengine_uk/variables/household/income/income.py#L61-L66
