gettting error is unreadable or doesn't exist

HI I am running the script on my MAC book and getting the error. Could you please help with this.

ssl-cert-check -f

ERROR: The file named /var/tmp/cert.2yjFg5 is unreadable or doesn't exist

Can you add "set -vx" to the second line and paste the output to the issue? Also, can you comment out the following line:

rm -f "${CERT_TMP}" "${ERROR_TMP}"

And send me the contents of these files?

Here's the output on my machine:

$ ./ssl-cert-check -v tls1_1 -s fmarier.org -p 443

ERROR: The file named /var/tmp/cert.tp0w2W is unreadable or doesn't exist
ERROR: Please check to make sure the certificate for fmarier.org:443 is valid

$ cat /var/tmp/error.n2YnuZ
s_client: must not provide both -connect option and target parameter
s_client: Use -help for summary.

$ cat /var/tmp/cert.tp0w2W
$ 

I'm using this version of OpenSSL (from Debian unstable):

$ openssl version
OpenSSL 1.1.1b  26 Feb 2019

My error: Host Issuer Status Expires Days


ERROR: The file named /var/tmp/cert.klxgOe is unreadable or doesn't exist sitename.com 443 is validtificate for sitename.com:443
