Allow setting maximum voltage and amperage above AccA's maximums

Open TurtleIdiot opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

I am a Xiaomi user running a custom ROM I was trying to set my phone's maximum charging voltage and amperage to some of the limits listed on my original charging brick (11V at 3A) However, AccA would not accept 11000 milivolts as a valid value, even though my phone can handle it. I'd like to know if there was a way to unlock this or implement it as a feature such as an "enable advanced limits" setting or something

This is the maximum voltage of your battery and not the charger. You should not set this above 4.2V because it will wear out your battery much quicker. Your phone will still charge at 11v if this value is lower. This function also is just to limit the voltage and ampere to get your battery to last longer. If you want to charge at the maximum speed that your phone is capable of, do not configure the power and voltage limit.
