Make a logo

Futile needs a simple logo. I had this:

..but that logo is too complex and overwrought... Ian had the idea of a wireframe "F" (perhaps made of triangles), which would be pretty sweet.

I followed your thoughts for simplicity and triangles and then tried to make it look more like a square tiled game look (The greyscale one). Then added some of your color fade back. Just some ideas I created real quick (I am not a professional in case you couldn't tell :). If you like it I have the inkscape SVGs.

Update: to be clear I have no illusion these are even remotely good enough for Futile's official logo. I am just trying to spur discussion thoughts based on Matt's recommendations for the logo above. :)

Hi. I wasn't trying to suggest they were finalized or even remotely good. I was trying to do what Github does best which is collaborate. Since this hadn't been updated in 3 months I thought I would simply do a wireframe F which is what Matt said we was looking at doing to help get things moving. I really want Futile move towards being more polished complete framework so that more and more people start to look at it and a logo would be a great way to give the product notability. I personally like Matt's designs much more just wanted to see what a wireframe F would look like and then show that then I did the other stuff. The point of offering an SVG is if someone wanted to take what I did and modify it.
