display-custom not working?

I am running divoom-control under windows, can connect, switch to the date-time channel but I can not switch to the custom channel:

[LOCAL]: Connection 0/3: Connected
[DIVOOM]:

so no error message - no message from DIVOOM at all. Same as "display-date-time", except that works.

Am I calling it wrong?

second thing: Is there a way to call a specific custom channel? (as I have three but cannot see an option to specify, which I want)
