Play Sound on Mouse Button Up/Down

Feature Request: I am recording screencast tutorials for Freecad, and have the microphones on to record my mouse clicks, without speech. When done, I record audio comments in different languages and then mix them with the mouse click track later.

Because the mics capture lots of unwanted sounds from the environment, I am looking for an option to "generate" a mouse click track from within Captura, with the mic inputs disabled. Or better yet, with all recording inputs disabled, which would eliminate unexpected system sounds also.

Captura currently can visualize mouse clicks with colors on the screen, there should be the opportunity to mix a sound into the audio output stream.

Q1: Is that possible? Q2: I would really like to contribute and implement that, and would welcome any hints where to look into the code.

Thanks in advance! Bassmati

This feature is nice, the problem is that currently, Captura's audio system is a bit buggy. There are a few synchronization issues that need to be fixed before this feature can be added. I'd be working on fixing those problems soon. I'd be really happy to have this feature after I've fixed the problems mentioned above.

suggestion: Saving mouse clicks to a separate audio file. Then user can add this audio file to the video in the video editor program.
