To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Download and install Materialious 1.7.3
- Make sure to turn off “Themed icons” if you're on android 12+
- Put the icon of Materialious on your android home screen
- Try to drag it really fast
- You'll see white background.
Smartphone:
- Device: [Pixel 4a (sunfish)]
- OS: [Android 13 (13 TQ3A.230805.001.S2)]
- Version [1.7.3]
Is due to the white background in the image
Not actually sure why this is.
I can't reproduce this on neither one of these:
- Fairphone 6 /e/OS Android 15 with Lawnchair Launcher (basically the AOSP one)
- Fairphone 4 /e/OS Android 14 with Lawnchair
- Oneplus 8 Pro Android 13 with OnePlus native launcher
It seems like a launcher issue, an app doesn't have any influence over how "wobbly" its icon is. Maybe it has something to do with your dynamic background?
I was using Pixel Launcher. I'm not sure why it was happening neither
I was able to replicate it on a Google Pixel 7 via Android Studio but couldn't find any way to fix it.
Going to close the issue unless if further investigation is done just because its pretty insufficient.
