Open klepp0906 opened this issue 4 years ago • 6 comments

having a bit of trouble with reprovision thinking i have 2 certs out when i have 1. I figured this would release them and i could start from scratch.

got it built and entered my appleID and onetime pass.

Gives me "Error downloading certificates!"

Same here. Used the prebuilt Mac OS asset. Mac OS 10.12.6.

Anyone managed to use the tool? Thanks.

The app was broken by Apple late last year and will not be fixed.

@SteamingSugar Thanks for letting us know. 👍

I suppose I shouldn't ask the next OBVIOUS question. As @klepp0906 mentioned one of the reasons many of us are looking at trying to use the tool as way to potentially fix/diagnosis a problem we are having with signing/provisioning. Specifically we are having an issue with various signing/provisioning apps reporting what many of us perceive as an errors CSM error (often attributed to having 2 current certs already issued for a given AppleID when the apps (ReProvision, CydiaImpactor, etc) show only 1. I actually think a more accurate reading of the error introduces the fact that a previous signing/provisioning app is actually LOGED in (whatever that actually means in this context), and there appears to be no way to force a log out. Even removing ALL certs one gets the user back to where they were (only one cert can be used per AppleID rather then the purported 2 certs/apps that SHOULD work).

Whew with that out of the way.... Does anyone know any way of addressing the problem above or potentially workout the Apple change that broke the application. It from looking at the console it seems like the application is being passes a zero length cert.

Invalid serial number length (21), must be 1..20

@Matchstic Thanks for any help with the application or reason for attempting to use the app (signing/provision problem), and all your work on ReProvision! --Tom
