Tidal-HiFi no audio output on Arch

Open AzhamProdLive opened this issue 5 months ago • 4 comments

As the title say (and also this attached video) since some days now my Tidal doesn't play sound of the musics I try to listen to. I can see the music playing with the time slider, but after a while it or gives me a S1002 error, or keeps playing without stopping.

I have tried to reboot my system, full update, removed Tidal and reinstalled it, tried the flatpak version (which doesn't let me log in), logging out of the app and logging back it, to no avail

There's my recording of the issue, if needed I can provide my system specifications :

Try removing the cache and config at ~/.config/tidal-hifi/ or it's flstpak alternative :)

Try removing the cache and config at ~/.config/tidal-hifi/

Already tried, didn't fixed the issue on my end when I tried that some days ago, I will try again just to be sure of course.

Flatpak alternative

Flatpak doesn't let me login at all, giving me the usual Tidal error and telling me to create a ticket to customer support.

I tried removing the .config folder again and I am now facing the same message I have with the Flatpak version

Mmm, strange if you've deleted everything including the config then I have no idea what can cause this. I haven't heard of it before and am also unable to reproduce it myself.

After reinstalling it today, and testing it again, it seem to have been fixed, I do not know how, or when, but it works again. Closing this issue.
