It might be good to support 2.7 and 3.x. That way you can program in either in quark-editor. That's because both are often used now.

How much has been implemented so far? And how should the rest be implemented?

Release early, release often. Whenever this is fix, it won't take such a long time to be released. (As far as I know).

I believe the communities are considered to be "one thing", since they are groups that can span multiple instances.
