Do you have plans to port hid vpad to aroma and tiramisu?
It seems Bloopair does not want to add wired controller support, so it would still add some value for sure.
I totaly agree. I and my son are totally Mario Kart addicted. And the cheap and precise goldstandard for controlling Mario Kart are still the good old Game Cube Controlers. Thats why hidtovpad is the perfect sollution :-)
It is planned but due to Bloopair the priority is not that high.
Do you think it would be possible to get HIDtoVPAD to work with Retroarch when ported to Tiramisu?
Please make a port for Aroma we all who rely on hid to vpad will be so grateful!
Bloopair doesn't work with GameCube and other wired controllers, please make ports of hid to vpad. :(

This plugin works, allthough without any configuration. Any idea, how to modify the generated hid_to_vpad.json that gets generated when connecting controller? The default GC layout is just unbearable for Smash 64...

I just used it to use a leverless arcade controller for Mario Maker, some virtual console stuff, and fighting games. Didn't bother with any remapping so far. If it generates a json file as you say, you can edit that with your text editor of choice. I haven't looked at the json file, but if you can tell which button is which, swapping two values shouldn't be too hard. Worst case you could probably figure it out with trial and error. I'd probably edit the file and copy it over FTP so that you didn't need to keep taking the SD card out and probably would just need to reboot it.
