If you launch Padcon, then reenter the Homebrew Channel, then open any software, a) Padcon will stop and b) the HOME Menu will always show a black GamePad screen until the system is rebooted.

To add to this: When loading padcon through Haxchi and launching the Homebrew Launcher from the browser after that, it will make a beeping noise for about five seconds and then hang on the Home Screen.
