It seems these devices aren't sold anymore. I thus made a cheap DIY solution which also works with your ESP32 sketch as well as the python scripts:

That's quite neat! Yeah, the Dotti was an interesting gadget but it just wasn't that useful without Wifi - yours is better.

You don't happen to have more infos? E.g. what a read on the characteristic will return and what the notifications look like?

TBH I haven't worked on it in years.

Ok. Maybe it's actually better not to have a too close look at the original device when building something sort of compatible.
