updates only when clicking force?

I installed this and it finds my airtags. It updates when I click the force update button

But now I'm far away from my mac (mini intel running Sonoma) and I'm getting no updates into HA

The airtags all sho their correct location on FindMy, but not in HA

Hasn't worked properly for me for some time now. I get I frequent updates at best. Running Sonoma (14.5)

Seems to be the same for me but on Ventura. Did you find a solution for this?
