Make compatible with Wayland to work with Flatpak apps

Describe the bug I can not display the telegram tray icon after a system and telegram update. And according to this message https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/25083#issuecomment-1250190113, it is due to incompatibility with Wayland.

Screenshots image Telegram is open, but no icon tray there. Settings are not changed.

image Portmaster too.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Distro: Fedora 36
  • GNOME Shell: 42.4
  • Extension version: 25
  • Display server: Wayland
  • Flatpak: 1.12.7
  • Telegram flatpak package: 4.2.0

I read the compatibility note: [✓]

P.s. AppIndicator extension is working fine. But there are too few settings, and uncomfortable control (click with a middle mouse key to open a window, with a touchpad???), overflow is not resolved as yours. So I'm looking for a fix for the issue. Kind regards, Mukhammadyusuf

maybe it's an issue with XWayland?

I'm not sure if it's related, but I also have certain apps that show up in AppIndicator but not on this now. Zoom is the worst because it requires a right-click to show.
