Great project

I had also done project on lightpainting 2 years ago https://github.com/jbreizh/ImagePainting and i was upgrading/testing it for the new software version when i find your project. Great projet !! i am especialy impress with the hardware and all the build in arduino code. When you chose to build a full feature stick, i choose to build a smartphone driven stick (way simpler especialy for the hardware and arduino code). Anyway, maybe you can salvage some idea from my project although the code quality is not the best as i am just a french maths teacher...

Good evening/afternoon the dynamic duo Martin and Dirk, hope you're both well. It's been a while, infact around a year. A lot has has happened in my life and now settling down somewhat. How is this project going on? Are we still using the same hardware as around 2020 namely the esp32 board? I need a thorough catchup and get this/my version of this fabulous build going again.

Welcome back DaveStu! We're still using the same esp32 chip. I designed a new PCB for it that has a power supply on the PCB. I have also made many changes to the software. Lots of new features and improvements.

jbreizh - I like your project also, great job! You have inspired me to improve the web server code that is partially implemented in my project. The esp32 that I used easily has room for a complete web interface. Mine is easy to build using my custom PCB board, but that does of course make it a bit more expensive. I think I need to add the optional RBG, GRB, etc. variations. I haven't run into that problem yet, but I have heard about some versions that have the colors in a different order. I live in Utah now, but I was born in Denmark and I've been to France many times. Great food and especially cheese and bread!

Hello Martin, thanks for the welcome back. I knew you'd still be tinkering/improving with the code and design, exactly what good inventors do. I'll have to check out the schematic, though I'm not great at understanding them.
