Consul complaining about '.'

i constantly get this WARN from Consul:

Service name "go.micro.web.dashboard" will not be discoverable via DNS due to invalid characters. Valid characters include all alpha-numerics and dashes

maybe line 12 should be changed to something else?

me too having same problem. @Brototype did you get any resolution / workaround for this.
