Convert Road System to mesh bug
There is bug with converting Road System to mesh. Problem is that it should create result mesh by merging meshes and their materials if they refer to the same shared material object. It doesn't work for Road Segments - their materials aren't merged.
It causes logging exceptions in loop after selecting Road System Mesh in Hierarchy Window and Unity gets super laggy. What is more, any material changes have to be applied to all Mesh Renderer's Material references. video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv5FeIa4ZPw
I fixed it for myself just by modifying convertToMesh method to merge all Road System's materials if they have the same name. https://github.com/kuzznicki/roadcreator/commit/2627a19fc9b304be71146460ef4797219c99bf8c
It's not the perfect solution, but it works fine and creating mesh with only 7 materials without any issues. Just have to remember to not use any different materials with the same names.
Still this program has now been replaced with https://mcrafterzz.itch.io/road-creator-pro. But if you want to fork it then feel free to!
