OK, seems the (greatest ?) hardware accelerated video encoders expert is @Brainiarc7 here. I believe he could help us to understand better how to create a right commandline for FFMPEG...

Users must specify the output format&codec of course, but it would be great if the software automatically select the best preset to achieve the result, IMHO.
