What about adding a simple Vim-mode for the editor?

I think this could be a good idea as an independent plugin, since this is mostly code editor and shortcut based.

If this is fine, feel free to do that and ping me if we need discussion so that both plugins integrate nicely with each other.

Closing as explained above. This is completely separate from the functionality of this plugin and probably not used by everyone, so makes sense to do as a new plugin, which can be installed when needed
