Tall profile images get distorted

See example images in the conversation above. Probably not very high priority as it has simple workarounds. And to do solve this one well we'd need to make use of face detection in cloudinary or plug in a simple profile image editor.

We've got a significant improvement now in the auth/user management branch (#641) - simply adding object-fit: cover to al avatars handles most of the problem, of course...

...but we're still not resizing images properly and so on, cloudinary has a lot of tools for that, so perhaps we could use them since we're already using cloudinary? https://cloudinary.com/documentation/angular_integration
