Windows Terminal inconsistency
Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is:
The effect only works on a transparent terminal's titlebar, not the body of the terminal.
If I switch from "Custom Blur" to "DWMAPI" then back again, all open terminal windows will be affected, but any new ones will not.
Changing any terminal settings also removes the affect from all windows (Pretty easy to avoid, though).
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Open a Windows Terminal with transparency enabled
Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem:
The one on the left was opened before changing the blur mode back and forth, and the one on the right was opened after.
Additional information (please complete the following information):
OS Version : Win11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.3775) Software Version : 2.3.1
What other third-party software do you use: Startallback for my taskbar, nothing crazy that would affect the terminal AFAIK
This is the expected behavior for Custom Blur, as it's designed to mimic the behavior of Windows 7. By default, the blur effect is only applied to the title bar. It will only extend to the rest of the window if the application specifically requests DWM to extend the frame into the client area.
Calling the DWMAPI is precisely how an application makes that request.
So, what you're seeing is the correct behavior unless a tool like MicaForEveryone is used to force the effect on the entire window.
If you know the application is already extending its frame and using DWMAPI, please try enabling the Override DWMAPI effect or Override accent effect options.

How did you make such a terminal 0_0?
