Icon sizes should be consistent

As I have stated elsewhere, there does not seem to be a standard regarding true icon sizes. At least all squares and circles should each have size, position and shadow in common. (For squares also border radius.)

Square 128px:

• elementary application-default-icon, facebook, twitter, internet-mail: size 104x104, pos 12x9
• elementaryPlus dota2, garrysmod: size 111x111, pos 8x6
• elementaryPlus fez: size 104x104, pos 12x9
• elementaryPlus libreoffice-...: size 111x111, pos 9x6
• elementaryPlus sublime-text: size 115x115, pos 7x6

Circle 128px:

• elementary midori: size 105x105, pos 12x10
• elementary help-browser: size 105x105, pos 12x9
• elementaryPlus dolphin-emu: size 123x123, pos 3x5
• elementaryPlus borderlands, borderlands2, half-life, steam: size 119x119, pos 5x5
• elementaryPlus csgo, deadfall, dontstarve: size 119x119, pos 5x6

@quassy This is my fault. All the icons you have listed are mine. I am working on updating every icon I have made so that all square and circle icons will follow the size standards. I don't have an ETA but I am working to fix these problems. I hope it won't take me too long but I don't know as I am busy with school and life.

If you by any chance have compiled a list of the standard sizes it would be nice if you could share it :) elementary guidelines are not really detailed. Would be useful for future contributions - including mine (first attempt...)

If you look at some elementary icons, they are not consistent too. Take Midori and Help: The sizes are almost the same, but the shadows are completely different.

@quassy the reference icons I am using are pulled from the media player icon and midori icon with a few of the circle shape pulled from the ubiquity icon for smaller sizes I have stripped them down and set them up to be used for reference. If you would like the ones I am using you can download them here.

@elmat0 I'm still around. Sorry I've kinda disappeared I still work on my icons occasionally but life as kinda hit hard and I haven't had much time to devote to them. If you want the reference sizes for the square and circle icons that I use I have updated them and they are available here for now. I still hope to release updated icons but I don't know when they will be available.

All good mate. Life has a knack for getting in the way. ;p Thanks heaps for these reference sizes. With your permission (and if the project leads approve), I would like to propose these (or a derivative thereof) get hosted up somewhere permanent or actually bundled with the theme so we have a chance at semi-consistency across different icon contributors.

@elmat0 No problem. That's fine with me they are just the music-player and midori icons pulled from the official elementary icon set and I stripped them down to bare shape and coloured them grey. I don't think there is anything in the licensing to prevent that.

Hi, guys sorry but I have some bad news. For now I will no longer be updating the steam games icons. I had several I was mostly done with updating and then I had a hard drive give out on me and I lost all that work. I just don't have the time to work on these anymore. You can read more detail in my Google+ post. I may try and come back to them in the future, but as for now I'm considering them abandoned. Anyone who wants is welcome to take my files and fix update and add their own. It is just to much for me at this time. I will try and update most of my other icons though and try to release a few more.
