Elementary Thirdparty Icons
You guys are quickly becoming the definitive place for anyone to get elementary icons for thirdparty apps and their indicators. I'd like to suggest you guys talk to Marcus Wichelmann (https://launchpad.net/~l-admin-3) since he has got a treasure trove of elementary icons (https://code.launchpad.net/~l-admin-3/elementary-thirdparty-icons-freya/) and incorporate his set. We'd all like to install just one package and be assured of getting all icons.
The icons for Blender(misnamed bender.svg
for some sizes), Deluge, easytag, jdownloader, Netbeans might be worth having a look at. All are present for all sizes.
Maybe invest-applet.svg
could be used for a finance app.
Contributors are credited, licence appears to be GPLv?.
This was a good find. Below are app icons not already included with elementaryPlus that have all the sizes. This batch will be trivial to merge... what do you guys think?
Here is a bunch of symlinks that would also be included.
appointment-new.svg -> agenda.svg
beryl-settings.svg -> desktop-effects.svg
dconf-editor.svg -> gconf-editor.svg
display-capplet.svg -> system-config-display.svg
do.svg -> gnome-do.svg
EasyTAG_icon.svg -> easytag.svg
fusion-icon.svg -> ccsm.svg
gnome-display-properties.svg -> system-config-display.svg
gnome-session-properties.svg -> session-properties.svg
gnome-session.svg -> session-properties.svg
google-chrome-unstable.svg -> google-chrome.svg
grandr.svg -> system-config-display.svg
gsd-xrandr.svg -> system-config-display.svg
jDownloader.svg -> jdownloader.svg
news-feed.svg -> internet-feed-reader.svg
resapplet.svg -> system-config-display.svg
simple-ccsm.svg -> ccsm.svg
wmtweaks.svg -> desktop-effects.svg
xfce4-session.svg -> session-properties.svg
I would probably want to fix the border on jdownloader
and remove the shadow from pdfshuffler
.
Now that I see them all in one place I retract my previous statement. I don't think any of them is a particularly good fit.
I don't know where did you get them but some of the icons are originally from here : http://spg76.deviantart.com/art/elementary-extras-Icons-215459969
@Ghokun they were from the bundle in the first post. I just had a look through elementary-extras and you're right, most of the above set looks to have come from there. Here is a few alternate icons from elementary-extras.
The firefox icon could be a little more colourful, but otherwise looks better than the one above.
Some icons really look outdated, especially Firefox, Google+, Dropbox, xbmc...
Some of those are some of my old icons, none of witch are up-to-date. From the ones shown in @elmat0 's comment agenda, pitivi, google+, and workspace-overview are all old icons I made and scrapped because they were not my best work.
Maybe this icon fits the elementary look better than the current one. What's your opinions?: https://github.com/andreasoragna/extramentary-icon-theme/blob/master/apps/64/dropbox.svg
