3 State (Finished) To Do List

I (i guess mostly) have jobs that ends with result:

• Success
• Done (with waiting for external response)
• Failed (with note[s])

is this possible to implement?

i like to write the code myself, but haven't had the time yet and not seem any change in the future, so ... ;)

nb: this is should labeled as enhanchement but I have no idea to make it
