voxelmap [1.16.2 Forge] Waypoints and map reset in Realms

Waypoints and generated maps are not saved so that they can be reloaded in Realms. Every time I join a Realm, it uses a different server IP to the time before, so the maps and waypoints are not loaded.

I have the same issue. It creates a new folder with the name of the IP. When I name the world, it does create and use the named folder, but after closing Minecraft and starting it up again, it does not recognise the realm and just creates a new folder with the name of the IP again. The named world is not listed in the world manager.

Regarding cache, my temporary solution is copying all the files from the previous folder to the current one, and relogging into Realms. However, it is still quite annoying! By not being able to see previously explored terrain and deleting all waypoints, this map mod is almost useless.

Environment:
- OS: Linux Mint 19.1 (64-bit) / 5.4.0-58-generic
- Java: Oracle Sun Java 8 Update 221
- Minecraft:
  - 1.16.2 / Fabric 159 / API 0.18.0-build.397 / Voxel Map 0.10.10 (The issue does NOT happen in this environment)
  - 1.16.3 / Fabric 198 / API 0.20.2-build.402 / Voxel Map 0.10.11 (But it does in this one)
  - 1.16.4 / Fabric 214 / API 0.25.1-build.416 / Voxel Map 0.10.14 (And this one as well)

The same issue has been bothering me as well since Voxel Map for 1.16.3 Fabric rolled out. I've been looking into the storage directory and can confirm that the cause mentioned above by SnorrenEnzo seems to be pretty exact.

The workaround mentioned above by SnorrenEnzo also works for me. I'm not that bothered because I know the world very well. I'm just a little bit annoyed by the fact that now I can't elytra-fly to a waypoint in a straight line and that it does not show the full map when I want it to.
