The famous 0.1 FPS

Open ReyStark opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

I am not sure to understand. I don't have a premium obico. am I stucked to the 0.1 frame per second?

I is like if I need to refreash the browser to get another picture of the webcam!

I read something like:

"Take note that Obico does not support high frame-rate streaming for webcams outside of a Raspberry Pi - however, the AI detection will still work well with the 0.1 FPS."

I have mainsail, crownest (ustreamer), an oracle server

Please helop

What is Klipper running on? Do you have it installed on a Raspberry Pi? If so, then you should be able to get higher than 0.1 FPS. If you are running on a Linux computer, or a NAS or some other non-Raspberry Pi device, then it may or may not be able to be better than 0.1 FPS.

Normally, this issue comes up when you haven't followed all of the steps for setting up your Obico server's Django Site field. It defaults to example.com and should be updated to be the public IP of the Oracle instance in this case. I have my Oracle public IP set to a DNS name, so I put in my DNS name instead, but if you aren't doing that, then just the IP followed by the port, something like 23.58.125.47:3334

If you keep having issues, please check out the Obico Discord server where myself or others can help with your self-hosted server config: https://discord.gg/Y5dtNrVX

Klipper is on raspberry 3. On mainsail, I have 20 fps. I have set to xx.xx.xxx.xx:3334.

I would recommend going to the Discord and continuing there, as this appears to be an Obico specific issue, and not related to the Oracle instance
